There are about 4,500 brickfields around Dhaka. These labourers are from a brickfield named H N Bricks in Amin Bazaar. Here, about 60 workers make 33,000 to 35,000 bricks every single day.

In six months, their hands create 600,000 of these building blocks. Adults get 40,000tk for six months of labour, while the children get 12,000tk.
