3rd Bangladesh Physics Olympiad'13 (Dhaka Division) Held

Dutch Bangla bank '3rd Bangladesh Physics Olympiad'13(Dhaka Division)' held at Eastern University on January 12. This Olympiad started at 9:30 pm and ended at 3 pm through a test. Its categorised into three parts titled A category for class 7 and 8 students while B category for class 9 and 10 students and C category for 11 and 12 class students.

A total of 500 hundreds students participated in the function. Mohaimen Islam, Oxford International School took first position in Category A while Soumik Adnan Sarwar, Sunnydael School and Shariar Tanvir, Rajuk Uttara Model College took first position in togeather B and C category.

In the prize giving ceremony, SM Bakhtiar Alam, Chairman, Board of trusties, EU, Dr Nurul Islam, VC, EU, Dr Nurul Islam, Dean, Faculty of E&T, Dr Khorshed Ahmed Kabir, Chairman, Deptartment of Nuclear Engineering, DU and president of Bangladesh Physics Olympiad committee, Dr Zafar Iqbal, Chairmen, CSE, SUST, and Senior Vice President, Bangladesh physics Olympiad committee, Eminent Professor of CSE, BUET, Dr Kaykobad, Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, Chairman, EU, with other teachers of different University were presented.
