While on a trip to Jaflong, the photographer came upon this scene. The photograph shows a mother and her daughter working hard to extract stones from the earth.

Akhlas Uddin has been a photographer since 1995. He specializes in child photography and is currently living in Jallarpur, Sylhet. He often works with documentary filmmakers and was on such a task when he snapped this photograph.
