ENTRANCES are important factors that create the first impression for any professional institute. Thus a modern fashionable and yet simple entry door is very much required. It is very easy to incorporate a new look into the already existing structure. Such is the one shown in the picture. The entry used to have a heavy wooden door and a collapsible gate. The new arrangement was to make the entry gate look both functional and fashionable at the same time. The decoration should be done keeping comfort in mind. The overall effect should be user friendly and eye-catching at the same time. To bring the instant change a new door column was created. Spotlights were included with the large door column. The false ceiling was given a bright tube-light to brighten up the entry. The floor was done with granite and marble, and the colour combination was also carefully supervised. The walls were decorated with super teak or Burma teak boards to maintain continuation with the door column. A broad glass door was created for extra security. Frosted paper was used for the glass door. The collapsible gate was removed and an automatic remote shutter was (made of MS sheet) installed for security instead. The purpose behind the new look was to give the entry door a bright and friendly approach. Hence the wooden panels on the walls. The decorative and modern signboard is a good match for other renovations. The spotlights complement the signboard. Finally to make it lively and appealing, potted plants and earthenware were included for ornamentation. In this way, a simple place can be transformed into a very posh decorative corner and all this can be done within the budget. Report
