2nd International Conference on the Developments in Renewable Energy Technology

The 2nd International Conference on the Developments in Renewable Energy Technology (ICDRET 2012) organised by United International University (UIU), Dhaka was inaugurated by Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, BB, Advisor to the Honourable Prime Minister on January 5, 2012 at the auditorium of UIU. Muhammad Enamul Huq, MP, State Minister, Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources, Government of Bangladesh attended the inauguration ceremony as special guest. A total of 155 technical papers have been received out of which 92 papers were selected for presentation in the technical sessions held on the 6th and 7th of January, 2012. Eight invited papers from top researchers in the field of renewable energy were presented in the plenary sessions.

The conference was arranged in cooperation with UPGD, giz, DAAD, Japan Solartech (Bangladesh) and Schneider Electric, while Channel-i was the media partner.
