Viqarunnisa - Our Heaven on Earth
Tanjilut Tasnuba Riddhi
It is not too long ago that we have left our beloved campus Viqarunnisa -- but it seems to me that I am not there for hundreds of years. Yeah, I am really missing our heaven on earth -- our Viqarunnisa campus.
I am one of the proud students of batch 2004 (SSC) & 2006 (HSC). I started my journey in Viqarunnisa Noon School from class VIII and passed some memorable hours of my life there for the next five years. Truly, what I have got from this school is beyond description. Lots of love of my teachers, lots of sweet friends, lots of sweet memories that are lodged in my heart forever.
Here I must mention the names of my friends with whom I shared a life that is only possible in dreams. They are - Alifa, Tushi, Moonmoon, Peony, Meghla, Urmi -- persons very close to my heart. (Here I'm also remembering all of my other friends whose names I cannot mention because of the shortage of space). Undoubtedly I can say that the kind of life we enjoyed in our school and college, very few people actually get that chance in their whole lifetime.
When we were in school, we used to go very early in the morning, gather together in front of the classroom and then get lost in our own little world. We used to arrange all the programmes of our school, which were the most important sources of entertainment. As far as I can remember we were the important group in our school. We were given the duties to arrange Pahela Baishakh or various other cultural functions. We always tried to make the best use of that opportunity so that everyone had a good time.
We used to have lots of fun with our teachers too! Let me tell you a secret -we used to steal mangoes from our trees! I can never forget those picnics and study tours. When I recall the memories of my school the things that come first into my mind -- 'Amader Krishnochura', our canteen, our auditorium, our common room, our science club, debating club and our classrooms. So many bits and pieces of sweet memories remain scattered in those places!
Though we were the 'Fazil' lot of students of the school, yet we were known as the most obedient ones to the teachers. And very fortunately we passed our SSC exam obtaining GPA 5.00.
After that we got into the college. And as we were on the same campus, we didn't understand what was the meaning of 'leaving the campus'. We got into the science club and debating club. And we started to 'bunk' most of our classes for doing the very important club activities! We also had to work outside the school and those were really fun-filled experience of our life. Again we got the leadership of our college and for that reason got the chance to meet some renowned persons of the country, and the chance to publish a magazine of our own and do a lot more.
After passing our HSC, it was time to leave our campus, our heaven -- our Viqarunnisa. Maybe we had to leave our uniform and many other things but we could not leave our memories behind. Those golden memories of our life will always be with us for the rest of our life. Last but not the least, with lots of respect I am remembering those persons who have been most important in our life -- our respected teachers. Maybe today we are not there beside you but you are always there in our heart. We love you all and we love our Viqarunnisa....
