NSU social services club organizes
winter clothing drive 2009 - 2010

THE North South University Social Services Club (NSU SSC), one of the leading clubs of the university, has finally ended their 2 week long drive to collect winter clothes and distribute them to the underprivileged people of Bangladesh. The event, titled 'The Winter Clothing Drive 2009 - 2010' started on the 17 December, soon after the club had elected its new executive body for 2009-2010. A colorfully designed, six foot tall booth was erected right in the middle of the Bashundhara Campus where students could drop the clothes they intended to donate for the charitable cause.

EASTERN University Social Welfare Club distributed warm cloths at Gobtoly and Shah Ali Mazar, Mirpur, among the underprivileged people. Faculty member of Eastern University Mahinur Rahman was present there as the Chief Guest and distributed the warm clothes among the poor who were suffering from shortage of warm cloths. The President of the Social Walfare Club Shahajus Uddin Daly and General Secretary Minhaz Uddin Miran were present among others.
