Doctoral Symposium Organized by World Business Institute, Australia

WORLD Business Institute organized a Doctroal Symposium in the two day 2nd Annual Asian Business Research Conference at the BIAM Foundation. The Doctoral symposium was presided over by Prof. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Ph.D. while main speaker was Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Hoque, Monash University, Australia.

Among others Dr. Jesmin Islam of University of Canberra, Australia, Prof. Muhammad Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Ph.D, University of Chittagong, Dr. Jafor Chowdhury, University of Scranton, USA, Dr.Paritosh Ghosh, Deer College, Canada, Prof. Jasmin Ara Begum, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technolgy, Prof. Noor Mohammad Osmani, International Islamic University, Malaysia, Associate Professor Ahasanul Haque, Dept. of Business Administration, International Islamic University Malaysia also presented at the conference.

In the question answer seesion Javed Anwar, Assoicate Professor, Dept. of Finance, University of Dhaka, Delwar Hossain Khan, Assistant Professor, Institute of Science and Technology, Rehana Fowzia, Asst. Professor, Stamford University, Jannatul Mawa Nupur, Senior Lecturer, Northern University of Bangladesh, Mohammed Sohel Islam, Lecturer, Independent University, Bangladesh, Tajmeela Jahan, Lecturer,Atish Dipanakar University of Science and Technology ,Kamrul Hasan, Lecturer, State University of Science and Technology, Ruba Rummana ,Senior Lecturer, Ahsanullah University also spoke on this occasion.

In the conference, Best Paper Award from the field of Banking, Finance and Economics was given to Dr. Chu V. Nguyen, University of Houston, Downtown, Prof.Anisul M. Islam, University of Houston, Downtown and Prof.Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology for there excellent work in the research based article on 'Asymmetries in the Lending-Deposit Rate Spread: The Case of Bangladesh'.
