Reaz Uddin Ahmed (1945-1967), the most successful head of this institution added Intermediate classes in the school in 1948 naming it again as 'Islamic Intermediate College'.

Later general courses were introduced side by side the Islamic education under the brave leadership of Reaz Uddin and it was named again as Nasirabad Collegiate School in 1958. Till now the school has a good reputation in the district.
