"Exploring Talent, Be a Star"

EXPLORING Talent, Be a Star, with this slogan Eastern University Cultural Club [EUCC] recently organized a three day long Annual Cultural Competition to explore the students' talent and groom them for future.

More than one hundred competitors competed in four categories like song, dances , recitation and drama. The events were judged by nationally acclaimed personalities. On the third day the prize distribution ceremony was held at the University auditorium, and it was attended by the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rahim B Talukder , Pro-vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdur Rab and the Deans of all faculties. The programme was also graced by the presence of the 'folk song maestro' Mustafa Zaman Abbasy as the chief guest and the editor Star Campus, Shahnoor Wahid as the special guest. They handed over prizes to the winners in various categories of events. Finally the awarding ceremony ended followed by a colourful cultural Programme. The names of organizers of the highly successful events that deserve to be mentioned are: Sharif Rakib Hasan, Nazla Fatmi, Parisa Islam, Farzana Rahmat Zaki and Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad.
