Happy Teachers Day
Farhat Tasannum Farah
WORLD Teachers' Day was observed throughout the world on October 5. The celebration of the day itself is an evidence of the great importance and respect shown to the teachers.
Teachers and students are always interconnected. The word 'student' automatically comes after 'teacher' by turn.
A teacher is a guide, can be a good friend, a well-wisher, and an idol. A teacher is a god-like figure. S/he shows us the right way to reach aim and to achieve goal. S/he improves our way of living, secures our future and forbids us to go astray.
right way to reach aim and to achieve goal. S/he improves our way of living, secures our future and forbids us to go astray.
In the last century, teachers were like our parents. But, things have changed now. The age difference between teacher and student is not of much significance now-a-days. A teacher is more of a friend, a brother or a sister than a teacher.
Teachers are most trustworthy to students. Students trust them and rely on them. Teachers should also have faith in their students as well!
A teacher should always be conscious about their activities and behaviour towards students because students acquire lessons from teachers. Teachers are the future makers of future generations.
Good and wise teachers should maintain a strong and dynamic personality. They should not allow politics in educational institutions. It can create very bad effect on students' studies and future as well! Teachers should avoid being partial with few students just because of “flattering”!
A teacher of a good personality does not care anybody to motivate his/her decisions. S/he discovers the skills and hidden talents from every student, opens blocked minds, inspires everyone to participate in every field and considers every student equally.
This day, World Teachers' Day, represents a significant token of the awareness, understanding and appreciation displayed for the vital contribution that teachers make to education and development.
This article is a very little effort to show my heartfelt gratitude to all my teachers who I admire most! I just want to say 'thank you' to all my teachers for everything they have done for me! I wish all my teachers “A Very Happy Teachers' Day”.
