Kazi Ahmed Farhan
Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, is one of the dynamic faculties among others. Students of this faculty are very much involved in co-curricular activities. They are involved in singing, playing cricket/football/basketball, acting, debating, case competition etc. We feel proud to say that Shomi Kaiser and Hridi Haque were the students of this faculty and who does not know about their acting talents. Close Up 1 star Abid Shahriar sings as well as studies in this faculty. Shahriar Nafees, another student, is a player in National Cricket Team of Bangladesh. Biplob Barua is the captain of University Team Captain of Basketball. They all are masters in their own field of excellence. On the eve of Pohela Baisakh 1414, students of this faculty organised a cultural function during Baisakhi Mela on the faculty premises. Here the students sang, danced, staged plays, recited poems, told jokes and more. Then very recently students of BBA 9th batch of Department of Marketing celebrated their BBA completion and MBA 7th batch of Department of Marketing also celebrated their MBA completion. They were able to manage a colourful DJ party to celebrate the completion programme. They sang, danced and shared their wonderful moments with not only the teachers of the respective department but also with the batch mates.
