On a lazy afternoon, we were walking down a dusty road in front of Mumtazuddin Arts Building of Rajshahi University Campus. We saw a small signboard on one of the mango trees saying “Chacha Chattar”! We stumbled for a while and stared at that. It was also saying, “Come on, chachas and bhatijas, let's have a chit-chat”. This is quite a significant point on the campus. This particular mango tree and its surrounding have become a place for hangouts of basically non-political, non-organisational and non-specific students. There are other places like this one where students come just to pass leisure hours with friends during class intervals. Most popular among them are “Folklore-Chattar”, “Iblish Chattar”, “Library Chattar”, “Adhunik Chattar”, “Shaheed-Minar Chattar”, “Physics Chattar” and some tea-stalls and open cafés, etc. These places are favorites for open air and open minded “addas”.

Education is not only a pre-condition of social and economic development of a country. Education also sets an individual's mind free to experience the unknown.

University education is markedly different in approach and attitude from that of the education given in school and college. We, the university students, are the witnesses of such an environment, which has all the variations and the touch of adventure that make a student an able professional as well as a complete human being.

In our Rajshahi University campus such educational environment exists that allows open gathering of students and it plays a vital role in their academic activities. They spend time together, talk, laugh and discuss their studies, debate on various topics like politics, religion and culture, which ultimately turns out to be healthy entertainment for them. Moreover, sometimes they play on their guitars, start singing in groups and enjoy festive moments together. They share each other's feelings, thoughts and ideas. In this way, the outgoing and extrovert students can upgrade their knowledge better than those who pass their leisure hours in room all by themselves.

But recently, our beloved country is undergoing an emergency called upon by the caretaker government. A prohibition against any kind of gathering has been imposed. We believe that in this critical moment, maybe this is the best possible solution for our wellbeing. But unfortunately the prohibition is costing us going to the adda places, which are our favorite. We want to ask ourselves what kind of effect it may have on our minds in the long run. We hope things will improve soon and we shall be able to pursue our education and at the same time pass some wonderful time with our friends at those wonderful adda places.

Now a days we cannot deny the importance of presentation. Whether it is a student or business executive presentation it has become the part of every one's life. Especially for BBA students it is a must because we need to market ourselves. Therefore, following these
steps we can make our presentation a real good one:

1.First and foremost, know your audience.

2.Choose or create a template, including a set of colours and font style, and use that format throughout the presentation.

3.Choose background colors that are appealing and keep your audience focused

4.Use a simple, plain font such as Arial or Times Roman and stay with it.

5.Make font sizes no smaller than 22 points and no larger than 36 points.

6.Limit the number of bullets on a slide to six - four if you have large titles, logos, or graphics.

7.Keep the message center stage, not the technology.

8.Always proof your slides. Run spell-check.

9.Become familiar with the tools (technology) and the software.

10.Face your audience - do not talk to your slides.

11.Rehearse! Rehearse! Rehearse!

Prepare and mentally walkthrough the presentation.

These tips will assist you in designing and presenting powerful presentations.

Furthermore, your polished presentations can help you enhance your professional image!

Good luck!!!
