To commemorate the day, directors, officials and players of Abahani will place flower wreaths at Sheikh Kamal's portrait in the Dhanmondi club tent and offer prayers at 12.01 am.

They will organise a qurankhwani and a milad mahfil apart from distributing food among the destitute.They will also visit Kamal's resting place at the Banani graveyard.
