Pegasus B president punished

Following a threat from a club official, the scheduled First Division Cricket League match between Eskaton Sabuj Sangha and Young Pegasus B could not be held at the Dhaka University ground yesterday.Soon after the toss, Young Pegasus B president Mir Mostak Ahmed Rabi reportedly threatened two umpires not to conduct the match. The league committee, after an emergency meeting in the evening, declared Mostak persona-non-grata for the entire cricket season and fined his team Tk 5,000 for the incident. They also declared Eskaton as winners of the game.
