Another gold for Sabrina

Sabrina Sultana of Dhaka Rifle Club bagged her second gold medal in the 20th National Shooting Championships when the veteran became first in the women's 50m rifle three position scoring 568 points on Friday at the National Shooting Complex in Gulshan. Sabrina clinched the 50m rifle prone gold and finished second in the 10m rifle events on Thursday. Suraiya Akhter, who secured the 10m air rifle gold medal, finished second after Sabrina with 547 points while Sharmin Rahman of Kushtia Rifle Club became third with 528 points Toufiqur Rahman of Dhaka Rifle Club clinched the men's 25m standard pistol gold scoring 543 while Asif Hossain secured silver with 515 points. M Selim Azad of Army Shooting Association bagged bronze medal scoring 510 points. Two events -- men's 50m rifle three position and 25m standard pistol -- will be held today, the concluding day of the four-day national championships.
