A meeting of the council of ICAB held yesterday made Hafiz chief of the institute for 2005, says a press release.

Hafiz is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Hafiz is a practicing chartered accountant since 1974. He is a life member of the Bangladesh Medical Studies and Research Institute.

Besides, Sultan Ahmed, Masih Malik Chowdhury and ASM Nayeem were elected vice presidents for 2005.
