The process began 39 years later on March 25, 2010 — the tribunal that promised justice to the millions who sacrificed their lives for the birth of Bangladesh and to the loved ones they left behind. This justice was not the demand of the dead but of the living, for whom the wounds are far from being healed. But recent events and deficiencies have blemished the process through which the trials are being conducted.
